Space Invaders
Space Invaders is a classic video game that helped to popularise the video game industry in the early 1980s. A simple, two-dimensional shooter where the player controls a small spaceship at the bottom of the screen, moving left and right to avoid incoming alien invaders that descended from the top of the screen.
Description
Space Invaders has four rows of aliens, each row consisting of eleven aliens, which move back and forth while descending towards the player. The player has to shoot the aliens while avoiding being hit by their bombs. There are three difficulty levels, where the aliens move faster and drop bombs more frequently at higher levels. The game also features a UFO that occasionally flies across the top of the screen, giving the player a chance to earn bonus points by shooting it.
