Description
The AC Adapter provides charge to the New Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS XL, New Nintendo 2DS XL, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo DSi, and Nintendo DSi XL consoles. The systems all require a 5V input using a proprietary connector. Since the initial Nintendo DSi there have been convenient after-market options adapting the connector to USB. Nintendo slowly started moving towards industry standard connectors with the Wii and Wii U, The 3DS and the Wii U were the final systems with proprietary power connections with the Switch fully embracing USB-C and USB power delivery.
