Robot Ponkottsu 64: Nanatsu no umi no Karameru

ロボットポンコッツ64 ななつのうみのカラメル

Translation: “Robot Ponkottsu 64 Caramel of the Seven Seas”. A clunky robot called Caramel sails through a world of whimsical puzzles and unpredictable encounters.

Description

A surreal voyage through salt-stained memories and whimsical chaos, where every island visited feels like a half-remembered joke told by a machine trying to understand humour. Caramel the robot is equal parts clumsy and poetic: its gears grind with longing, and its circuits spark with curiosity as it stumbles through puzzles, pirates, and philosophical fish. The world it inhabits is drenched in pastel melancholy, with characters who speak in riddles and environments that shift like dreams mid-thought.

The gameplay is erratic, but in a good way. One moment you’re solving riddles from talking barnacles, the next you’re navigating slapstick combat against sentient mop buckets. Movement is intentionally awkward, as if Caramel’s joints were designed by a committee of nostalgic engineers and mischievous poets. The game leans into its mechanical clumsiness, turning every jump, swing, and misstep into a kind of storytelling.
