Bravely Default II

Description

Bravely Default II is the third game in the series but does not continue the story of the previous titles, rather it features a new world and characters. The game follows the story of four heroes: Seth, Gloria, Elvis, and Adelle. They embark on a journey to collect the four elemental crystals, which are necessary to save their world from destruction. Along the way, they discover a dark force that threatens to destroy not only their world but also the parallel worlds connected to it.

The game features similar mechanics to its predecessors. It’s namesake turn-based combat system with a unique mechanic called “Brave” and “Default.” “Brave” allows players to spend multiple turns at once to unleash a flurry of attacks, while “Default” lets players defend and store turns for later use. The game also features a job system, allowing players to customise their characters with various classes and abilities.
