SingStar: Ultimate Party was the PlayStation-exclusive karaoke-style music game. It builds on the core SingStar formula of matching pitch and timing to original music videos, adding support for a smartphone companion app that transforms your phone into a mic, alongside social features like live video capture via the PlayStation Camera, augmented‑reality masks, and performance sharing on social media.

The game launches with a curated library of 30 pop-heavy tracks from global artists like Carly Rae Jepsen, Pharrell Williams, Lorde, P!nk, Coldplay, Demi Lovato, Kylie Minogue, and Lionel Richie. Additional songs can be purchased through the SingStore, with options to import previously owned PS3 songs where available. It provided a polished karaoke experience with modern convenience, but at the loss of legacy modes like duets, medleys, and online battles. It could feel a bit sparse with the lack of full party modes and lack of music genre diversity.
