It is the year 2022 and the Earth is under attack by giant insects and alien robots. The Earth Defense Force is a military organisation tasked with defending the planet from the invaders. As a third-person shooter, you use a variety of weapons and vehicles, including tanks, helicopters, and mechs, to battle enemies. The game includes a single-player campaign with over 80 missions, as well as a multiplayer mode that allows up to four players to team up and fight together.
