Tecmo World Cup ’93
An updated version of previous Tecmo World Cup games, released in PAL territories only. This reflects the lag during this period of new hardware being released in different territories. While 8-bit consoles continued to be popular in Europe, South America etc., in Japan 16-bit, CD based platforms were already quite mature. Prior titles in 1990 and 1992 were however release in Japan under similar names (テクモワールドカップ’９０ and テクモワールドカップ’９２).
