A Japanese development studio formed in 1994 by Shugo Takahashi, which initially collaborated closely with his brother’s Sega studio Sonic! Software Planning and the Shining series. It pivoted to focus on projects for the PlayStation before becoming a long-running Nintendo partner best known for Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, and the Golden Sun RPGs.
