Eradicator

Description

A science fiction-themed first- and third-person shooter. This comes from the early days when general game concepts were still being tried and tested. The story is set on the planet Ioxia. In the game you deactivate a reactivate automated fortress controlled by hostile alien forces. You can choose between a first-person or third-person perspective, and the game features over 20 weapons, including controllable missiles. It also supports multiplayer deathmatch modes via modem and LAN. While Eradicator was overshadowed by contemporaries like Quake, it offers a unique blend of action and puzzle-solving elements. It has been re-released for Windows/MacOS/Linux on Steam and GOG in the mid-2010s.
