Description
The GBA Link Cable was an essential accessory for social gaming on the handheld, continuing Nintendo’s legacy of link-based multiplayer that started with the original Game Boy. It enabled multiplayer gaming for two to four players in compatible games. Data trading/sharing to trade items, like in Pokémon, or other data between game cartridges. A marketed feature of the GBA was single-cartridge multiplayer. Some games allow multiple players to play together with just one cartridge, such as Mario Kart. You could daisy-chain up to 3 of these to connect up to 4 consoles.
