Description

Trials Rising continues the series’ humour-filled obstacle course challenges where the player rides a motorbike across tracks filled with ramps, jumps, and hazards. The design emphasises balance and timing, with the rider required to control acceleration and tilt to clear obstacles without crashing. The Gold Edition includes the base game along with additional downloadable content, expanding the number of tracks and challenges available. The game is highly based on skill mastery and competition through the pursuit of faster times and higher scores across global leaderboards.

Compared with earlier entries in the Trials series, Rising shifts back toward a more grounded presentation. Fusion added increasingly extreme elements with futuristic themes and trick systems. Rising sees courses set in real‑world locations and a visual style closer to contemporary stunt riding. The gameplay mechanics retain physics‑based riding, where small adjustments to speed and lean determine success. Players progress through increasingly complex courses, unlocking new bikes and customisation options. The game supports both solo play and multiplayer, with online leaderboards and competitive modes encouraging replay.

The Gold Edition adds expansion packs that introduce new tracks, contracts, and cosmetic items, broadening the scope of content to earlier entries such as Trials Fusion and Trials Evolution. At release Trials Rising was praised for its track variety, accessible tutorials, and the depth of its challenge. Criticism was directed at microtransactions and difficulty spikes in later stages. Retrospectively a strong continuation of the Trials series that broadened the series’ reach, while earlier titles are remembered for their role in defining and experimenting with the formula.
