Classic Controller Pro (Sengoku Musō 3)

Description

Classic Controller Pro (Sengoku Musō 3) uses gold decoration across a black shell and displaying the title logo on its face. It was supplied as part of the Japanese Special Classic Controller Pro Set for Sengoku Musō 3, giving the controller a distinctive finish. In the game the conventional layout supports direct character movement, camera control, attacks, guarding, special techniques, and battlefield navigation without relying on motion gestures.

The Classic Controller Pro provides two analogue sticks, a digital directional pad, four face buttons, Select, Home, Start, and four digital shoulder inputs arranged as L, R, ZL, and ZR. Its extended hand grips, wider stick spacing, enlarged rear shoulder buttons, and top-mounted cable distinguish the Pro model from the flatter original Classic Controller. It connects to the External Extension Connector on the bottom of a Wii Remote, which then communicates with the console, so it is not an independent wireless controller and still requires a powered Wii Remote. The original Classic Controller had a compact design influenced by the Super Famicom pad where as the newer Pro model uses a modern form bringing it closer to the feel of contemporary PlayStation and GameCube controllers. However, the absence of rumble, independent wireless operation, and analogue triggers limits it beside fully featured controllers from the same generation

The Sengoku Musō 3 edition belongs to a small group of themed Pro variants associated with major Wii releases, including the gold controller bundled with GoldenEye 007 in Japan and the red edition commonly paired with Xenoblade Chronicles in Europe.
