Description

The game takes place in Africa, where players take on the role of Chris Redfield, a former member of the Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) who is now a member of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA). Along with his partner Sheva Alomar, Chris is sent to investigate a bioterrorist threat in the fictional African town of Kijuju.

Resident Evil 5 features a similar gameplay style to its predecessor, Resident Evil 4, with an over-the-shoulder camera perspective and emphasis on action over horror. The game features a variety of weapons, including guns and melee weapons, as well as a cooperative multiplayer mode that allows two players to play through the game’s campaign together.

The game also features a new inventory system that allows players to manage their items and weapons more efficiently, as well as a new upgrade system that allows players to improve their weapons and equipment as they progress through the game.
