Super Mario Party

Description

Was great to see this well known party game series back for the Switch. Always an option if a few people are over in lieu of board games. It brings back the classic board game style of Mario Party, where you roll dice, move around boards, and compete in a wide variety of fun and often chaotic minigames. The Joy-Con controllers are used creatively for many of the 80 different mini games, making for some truly interactive moments. Also has online play but honestly only ever interested in it with real social situations. There are also some neat modes beyond the main board game, like cooperative river rafting and rhythm-based challenges, which add extra layers of enjoyment.
