Description
The DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller introduced several new features compared to its predecessor. It added a touchpad on the front for more interactive gameplay, a built-in speaker, and a light bar for player identification and game feedback. The light bar would later be used with the PS4 Camera for Virtual Reality games. It also included a Share button for easy sharing of screenshots and video clips, improved ergonomics, and more precise analog sticks and triggers. Overall an evolution of the prior design, it enhanced the general experience and provided developers some interesting options for experimenting with on the PlayStation 4.
