macOS, formerly Mac OS X, is the primary operating system for modern Apple Mac computers. Although the Mac has remained a small gaming market, it continues to receive a steady stream of major titles ported from Windows. Prior to Steam becoming available on OS X and Apple’s Mac App Store, boxed releases were still common.
