The NESP-101 is the PAL version of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) ‘Top Loader’ Control Deck, released only in Australia and New Zealand. This model is a redesigned, compact version of the original NES, often referred to as the “Top Loader”, “New-Style NES”, or “NES 2.” Similar to the NTSC unit, these lack a lock out chip so are region free. Unfortunately anther reduction came in only having a RF output. The Japanese equivalent went the other direction, providing a AV output where there was previously not one. The PAL top-loader had a slight revisions over the NTSC model, resolving some engineering issues.
