iQue
The iQue Player is a seventh generation home video game console developed by iQue, a joint venture between Nintendo and a Chinese partner. It was released exclusively in mainland China in 2003. The system was based on Nintendo 64 hardware and delivered games through flash memory downloads, circumventing China’s console ban at the time. The iQue Player competed mainly with PC gaming in the region and was a localized alternative to the Nintendo 64.
