Multitap

Games that support more players than available controller ports, requiring
a multitap peripheral to connect additional controllers. The zenith was the Sega Saturn, which supported up to two 6 player terminals. Multitaps became obsolete on later systems except the PlayStation 2, which lacked control ports due to a budget-orientated design. This tag includes the original Game Boy titles that used the 4 player adapter.
