The Last Guardian presents the story of a boy who awakens in mysterious ruins and gradually forms a bond with Trico, a towering hybrid creature with avian and mammalian traits. The game focuses on guiding the boy through crumbling structures, solving environmental puzzles, and relying on Trico’s abilities to traverse obstacles. The relationship between the two characters is central, with trust and communication shaping progress. The setting emphasises scale and vulnerability, contrasting the boy’s fragility with Trico’s immense presence. The title was a PlayStation 4 exclusive, not ported to any other platforms.
