Items classified as 17 (16 in Japan) by The 3DO Company. A 17 (17 Years and Older) or 16 (Jūroku-sai ijō taishō) rating indicates the content is suitable for late teens and adults. This was part of a self-imposed rating system used specifically for software on the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer platform prior to the widespread adoption of the ESRB.
