Sony Online Entertainment (Daybreak)

Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) was formed under Sony Pictures, separate from the PlayStation, with multiple internal studios including San Diego, Austin, and Seattle. They primarily developed and published PC-first games, focusing heavily on MMOs, persistent worlds, and online shooters. Because they were outside of Sony’s console divisions, their softography is radically different to the PlayStation family. They later produced sone PS3 titles before being sold off and rebranding as the Daybreak Game Company.
