A first-person stealth-action game where you play as either Empress Emily Kaldwin or her father Corvo Attano, reclaiming a stolen throne through cunning, supernatural powers, and choices that shape the fate of an empire.
Description
Dishonored 2 is set 15 years after the events of the original Dishonored, with Emily Kaldwin’s reign shattered by a coup led by the witch Delilah Copperspoon, who claims the throne as her own. Players choose to step into the role of Emily or Corvo, each with distinct supernatural abilities granted (or refused) by the enigmatic Outsider, and must escape Dunwall to the southern city of Karnaca. There, amidst political unrest, bloodfly infestations, and industrial decay, you hunt down Delilah’s allies, infiltrate elaborate locations like the shifting Clockwork Mansion, and decide whether to dispatch your enemies lethally or spare them through creative non-lethal means.
Blending stealth, mobility, and open-ended mission design, Dishonored 2 rewards experimentation, whether you ghost through levels unseen, orchestrate Hitman-esque accidents, or unleash chaos with your blade. Choices influence the game’s “chaos” system, altering the world’s tone, the fate of its people, and the ending you receive. The game provides richly detailed environments, layered storytelling, and emphasis on gameplay promoting agency.
