Description
Street Fighter II Turbo (Internationally branded as Hyper Fighting) was as an enhanced version of Street Fighter II: Champion Edition. It introduced faster gameplay, additional moves for each fighter, and refined balance adjustments that catered to competitive playstyles. Building on its arcade counterpart, the Turbo edition allowed players to adjust game speed and featured a slightly updated visual palette to suit the SNES’s capabilities. While the core roster remained unchanged, the tempo and responsiveness of combat significantly improved, setting a standard for iterative fighting game updates throughout the 1990s.
