A compact stand for the Switch console, with a small USB-C hub that converts the Switch to a non-portable console.

Description

The Switch Dock provides a place to store and charge the system, protect the screen, and utilises a small amount of electronics that expands the Switch for use as a home console.

  • A USB-C PD chipset and system for power and charging
  • DisplayPort video from the console is converted to the HDMI 1.4 output
  • A USB 3.0 controller, wired to:
    • 1x internal 3.0 port for an ethernet adapter
    • 2x external 2.0 ports mostly for charging devices
  • Onboard controller and flash memory for firmware, which can be updated

Overall a nicely put together package, mostly sticking to modern standards, and balancing the diverse range of use cases Nintendo systems are designed for.
