Skully

Description

Skully follows the story of Skully, a skull brought to life by a magical deity named Terry. Skully is tasked with saving the island paradise of the afterlife from destruction caused by Terry’s three squabbling siblings. You must navigate through a variety of environments, from beaches to volcanoes to forests, to complete tasks and save the island.

Skully’s gameplay is centered around its unique character movement mechanics. Skully can transform into different forms, such as a ball or a stone golem, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. These transformations allow Skully to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles in each level. The game also features boss battles and collectibles that unlock bonus content.

Unfortunately the Switch release is genuinely very poor in performance. Even from the first level you can feel the frame rate drag.  It is also visually a major downgrade. The PlayStation release runs light and day better.
