Game Gear

The Game Gear is a fourth generation handheld game console developed by Sega. It was released globally starting in 1990 and featured a backlit color screen. The Game Gear competed directly with Nintendo’s Game Boy, offering more advanced visuals but shorter battery life. It was Sega’s only dedicated handheld console.
