SCART RGB Cable
A generic SCART RGB cable for Sega Saturn systems.
Description
The SCART RGB Cable provides the best possible output from a Sega Saturn. The Saturn natively supports full RGB output with no compromise introduced into the analogue output. SCART was commonplace on European consumer electronics and present but less common in Australia.
Although there was no official Sega branded SCART cable, there was a 21-pin RGB Cable (HSS-0109) released in Japan for the Japanese standard. Although the RGB signalling and the plugs are similar, the two are electronically incompatible with different pin-outs.
