Tiger LCD Handheld
Tiger LCD handhelds are a series of inexpensive, dedicated electronic games produced by American manufacturer Tiger Electronics, primarily during the 1980s and 1990s. Unlike cartridge-based consoles, each device contained a single, hard-coded game utilizing static LCD screens with printed backgrounds. The series was highly prolific and commercially successful, frequently licensing popular arcade titles, blockbuster films, and hit television franchises. Although rudimentary in gameplay compared to systems like the Nintendo Game Boy, their low cost and broad distribution made them a ubiquitous part of 1990s electronic gaming.
