A Japanese video game and electronics company active from the mid-1970s through the early 2000s, known for arcade development/publishing and later console releases, as well as for hardware initiatives including early interchangeable arcade systems. The original business ultimately entered bankruptcy in 2003, after which portions of its catalogue and rights were acquired by other companies.
