Westwood Studios
Description
A major American game developer founded in 1985 as Westwood Associates, later renamed Westwood Studios under Virgin ownership in 1992. Celebrated for helping define real-time strategy through Dune II and Command & Conquer, while also producing notable adventure and role-playing titles, it was acquired by Electronic Arts in 1998 and folded into EA Los Angeles in 2003.
