Microsoft Dangerous Creatures
A good example of early educational, interactive CD-ROM software, it was originally designed for Windows 3.1. This OEM edition was provided in a software bundle with new Windows 95 PC.
Description
Microsoft Dangerous Creatures is an interactive multimedia educational software program under the Microsoft Home brand. The program provides information about different animals that are considered dangerous and potentially harmful to humans. The program includes detailed descriptions, images, and videos of various animals such as spiders, snakes, scorpions, and sharks. It also features quizzes and games to test the user’s knowledge about these creatures. It was popular among children and educators as it provided an engaging and informative way to learn about the dangerous animals of the world. As a child, its inclusion with a Windows 95 bundle was welcome although retrospectively it is clearly dated from the pre-Windows 95 era.
