Description

Full Auto is a vehicular combat racing game that blends high‑speed street racing with heavy firepower. It offers 20 armed vehicles across four performance classes, each equipped with unlimited‑ammo weapons that overheat if fired too long.

A standout feature is the “unwreck” mechanic, which lets you rewind time briefly to undo crashes or missed turns, adding some strategy to the chaos. The game offers a 60‑event single‑player career, plus modes like Pursuit, Arena, Tag, and Rampage, alongside online multiplayer for up to 8 players. Races take place in fully destructible urban environments, where blasting scenery can open shortcuts or block rivals.

Although this genre of games was generally easy and enjoyable, by this era expectations had increased and it was certainly criticised for repetitive gameplay. In part this may have reflected the era where the focus was on the transition to HD graphics, often at a cost of core gameplay being neglected.
