A role‑playing epic set in a war‑torn world where students are thrust into battle, blending tactical combat with themes of sacrifice, rebellion, and the burden of youthful leadership.
Description
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is an enhanced port of the Japan-exclusive PSP game Final Fantasy Type-0. Set in the war-torn world of Orience, the game follows Class Zero, an elite group of cadets from the Dominion of Rubrum, as they battle invading forces and uncover the truth behind the conflict. Gameplay blends real-time combat with party-based tactics, allowing players to switch between characters mid-battle. Each of the fourteen cadets has a distinct fighting style, ranging from melee to magic to ranged weaponry.
This HD version upgraded the visuals, reworked controls, and provided a new camera system tailored for console play. People responded well to its darker tone and combat variety, but it does have some uneven pacing and design limitations due the legacy of its handheld origins. As noted on the front cover, included a demo of Final Fantasy XV ahead of its launch.
