シムアース

A simulation game by Maxis for various platforms, including the PC Engine as a Super CD-ROM² title.

Description

The game is a simulation of the Earth’s ecosystem and allows players to experiment with different scenarios to see how they affect the planet’s environment, climate, and life forms. Players can choose to simulate different eras in Earth’s history, from the creation of the planet to the distant future, and can control various aspects of the planet, such as the atmosphere, the temperature, the water cycle, and the geological activity.

The game features a complex set of simulation mechanics that take into account many factors, such as the carbon cycle, the oxygen cycle, and the effects of volcanic activity and meteor impacts. Players can also introduce different life forms to the planet, such as plants and animals, and watch as they evolve and interact with each other and their environment.

SimEarth on PC Engine features updated graphics and sound compared to the original PC version. The game can be played with a mouse and keyboard or a controller and features a user-friendly interface that allows players to easily navigate the complex simulation mechanics.
