Description
Let’s Smash, also release in Europe as Centre Court Tennis, presented itself as a traditional tennis experience with a focus on singles and doubles play. The game offered tournament and exhibition modes, with support for multiple players, making it a natural fit for the living‑room multiplayer culture of its era. Its mechanics emphasized quick rallies and accessible controls, aiming to capture the rhythm of real tennis without layering on exaggerated gimmicks. The presentation leaned toward a clean, functional style, with character models and courts designed to evoke a sense of authenticity rather than cartoonish spectacle.
The game arrived at a time when the genre was experimenting with different directions.
