Exhaust Heat II: F-1 Driver no Kiseki
エキゾースト・ヒートII F1ドライバーへのA Formula One racing simulation that expands on its predecessor with refined handling, new circuits, and a stronger emphasis on career progression.
Description
Exhaust Heat II: F-1 Driver no Kiseki, known as F1 ROC II: Race of Champions in North America is the sequel to Exhaust Heat / F1 ROC: Race of Champions. Has Formula One licensing. Not sold in PAL territories. Uniquely contains a ST010 DSP chip, a NEC μPD7720, which superseded the chipset that the DSP-1/2/3/4 used in other games is based upon.
The game introduces a career-style progression, letting players rise through ranks over multiple seasons while managing car performance and upgrades. While gameplay leans arcade over simulation, its inclusion of real-world elements and polished track layouts give it a competitive edge within the Super Famicom’s motorsport offerings.
