A rhythm and dance game where players follow choreographed routines to popular songs, scored on accuracy, adding online ghost challenges and a Community Remix feature.
Description
Just Dance 2015 continues the franchise’s formula of players mirroring the movements of on‑screen dancers. It includes over forty songs, with highlights such as “Let It Go” by Idina Menzel, “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, “Bang Bang” by Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj, and “Problem” by Ariana Grande ft. Iggy Azalea. Alternate routines, mashups, and sweat versions return, offering varied choreography and difficulty.
The game introduces several new features. The Challenge system allows players to send and receive ghost data, competing asynchronously against friends or global players. The Just Dance Wall serves as a social feed, displaying challenges, updates, and community activity. Community Remix is a standout addition. Players record themselves dancing to select tracks, and Ubisoft curates these clips into playable routines where the community becomes the on‑screen coach. This feature deepens engagement and personalisation. Party Master mode returns on Wii U, allowing one player to control song selection and choreography changes. Other modes include Non‑Stop Shuffle, Sweat Routines, and Mashups, many of which had been absent or limited in Just Dance 2014.
The game was well received for its accessibility, multiplayer options, and continued appeal to casual audiences. Some noted that the soundtrack leaned heavily toward teen pop, and the interface had inconsistent design elements, but the overall experience remained engaging and polished.
