Virtua Racing Deluxe

Description

Virtua Racing Deluxe features improved substantially improved graphics and smoother frame rates over the Mega Drive port and additional content over prior versions of the game. This version includes five tracks and three car types, offering more variety than earlier home versions while retaining the arcade-style gameplay and polygonal 3D visuals that defined the original.

In my opinion this was the best home release of the game. It obviously beats the Mega Drive port but also played much better the Saturn port that was released a year later, despite all the added content that version contained. Although emulating the model 1 arcade game is possible, the Nintendo Switch release is just about perfect with a range of modern quality of life upgrades including online play.
