Digital Monster Card Game Ver. WonderSwan Color is a faithful digital adaptation of the physical Digimon card game. It mostly follows the official rules and is suitable both for novices learning the system and veterans practicing strategies.

It does have a single player campaign, where story progression is structured into chapters where victory in duels unlocks new Digimon decks and expands the card pool. Matches resolve via standard methods like pinfall, count-out, or depletion of the opponent’s deck.

Personally I never played the physical card game but by all accounts this title is quite an accurate adaptation of the physical game. Despite this I still found it engaging. Overall the game seems polished, with nice animations, and has a solid tutorial. Making the Digimon trading card accessible through the WonderSwan Color.
