Description
Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror is a point-and-click adventure game, the second instalment in the Broken Sword series. It follows American tourist George Stobbart and French journalist Nico Collard as they uncover a conspiracy involving ancient Mayan mythology, a powerful artefact called the Smoking Mirror, and a looming doomsday prophecy. Blending modern intrigue with ancient legends, the game sends players across various global locations to solve puzzles and unravel the mystery.
This was my original copy from the 90s. The game has lovely hand-drawn visuals and an engaging narrative making it one of the classic adventure games of the era. More recently I have played the remastered edition of the first three Broken Swords which feature updated graphics (including some widescreen from original assests!), quality of life upgrades, and added content for modern platforms.
