Pachinko CR Mōretsu Genshijin T

パチンコCRモーレツ原始人T

A pachinko simulator based on Toyomaru’s real CR Mōretsu Genshijin T machine, focusing on a direct recreation of an actual late-1990s pachinko cabinet.

Description

Pachinko CR Mōretsu Genshijin T sees you move around a small prehistoric-themed shopping arcade map, where you can enter one of three pachinko parlours, select a machine, check the nails/pins, and play the same CR Mōretsu Genshijin T machine in each shop. The loop is mainly about choosing a parlour, judging the board, adjusting the launch strength, building winnings, and carrying progress forward with passwords. A small reward structure gives the player bonus illustrations after earning set amounts of gold, with five illustrations in total and the largest target at 1 million gold.

The real machine being simulated was part of Toyomaru’s CR Mōretsu Genshijin series, with T and E variants. The series was a major hit from the limiter-era CR machine period. The machine used a prehistoric motif with mammoths, sabre-toothed tigers, stone-number symbols, volcanic warning effects, and percentage-based reach reliability displays, which explains the Game Boy title’s caveman branding and enlarged reach/jackpot presentation.

As a handheld pachinko game, its scope is narrow. It does not offer multiple unrelated machines or a big story campaign. However, the point was to reproduce one popular real pachinko unit in portable form, which it does well. So retrospectively it has little value to all but the most interested pachinko enthusiast.
