マイクカバーA protective part designed to shield the Microphone peripheral to improve its voice recognition during play.
Bundled in Set
Description
The Nintendo 64 Mic Cover is a small foam windscreen supplied with the Voice Recognition System Unit used in Pikachū Genki Dechū (Hey You, Pikachu!) in Japan and North America. It fits over the microphone capsule to reduce breath noise, plosive sounds, and dust, while also providing a hygienic barrier for repeated use. The cover is removable and replaceable, allowing players to maintain the microphone’s sensitivity over time.
It is made from lightweight foam and sized specifically for the N64 Voice Recognition Microphone. It was produced in bright yellow, clearly pointing to the character Pikachu. The accessory was included in the retail package rather than sold separately, and its presence is important for complete boxed sets.
