Konjiki no Gashbell!! Yuujou Tag Battle: Full Power is based on the manga and anime known internationally as Zatch Bell!. The game follows the tournament to determine the next Mamodo King, where young demon children and their human partners battle rivals using magical spell books. Combat centres around two-character teams composed of a Mamodo and their book keeper with popular pairings from the series. Battles take place in 3D arenas where players unleash signature spells, defend against incoming attacks, manage magical resources, and coordinate tag-based strategies.

Several modes are available, including a story mode inspired by the anime, local versus battles, mission challenges, unlockable extras, and bonus galleries. As you progress you gain access to additional characters, artwork, and collectible data related to the franchise in a very common structure introduced in this era. The game provides a faithful presentation of the series, with visual style, spell effects, character animations, voice acting, and dramatic rivalries are all represented with enthusiasm. Retrospectively the game a weaker fighting title compared to other Eighting games, particularly the Naruto series. Like most similar titles it prioritised matching the anime over deeper mechanics. Despite its shortcomings, it remains one of the more recognisable Gash Bell games.
