Description
Just Dance 2017 continues the series’ core gameplay of mimicking the movements of on‑screen dancers. The game includes over forty songs, with highlights such as “Sorry” by Justin Bieber, “Don’t Wanna Know” by Maroon 5, “Into You” by Ariana Grande, “Single Ladies” by Beyoncé, and “Cheap Thrills” by Sia ft. Sean Paul. Alternate routines and mashups return, offering varied choreography and difficulty. Just Dance Unlimited expands this significantly, offering over 250 songs at launch.
The game introduces several new modes. Just Dance Machine is a sci‑fi themed challenge where players perform short routines in different dance styles to recharge an alien spaceship. Dance Quests return, offering curated challenges across multiple songs. Sweat & Playlists mode allows players to group routines into workout sessions. World Dance Floor expands online multiplayer with features like Beat the Boss, Happy Hours, and Tournaments. Just Dance TV lets players watch and share recorded performances, autodances, and behind‑the‑scenes content. The game also supports up to six players locally, with co‑op and rival scoring options. Motion tracking is remains supported via each platforms motion controls or the Just Dance Controller app, which uses a smartphone’s accelerometer to register movement.
The game was highly refined, with expanded content, improved online features, and continued accessibility. The addition of new modes and a broader song library helped keep the experience fresh.
