Bomberman B‑Daman takes the familiar Bomberman characters and reimagines them through the lens of the B‑Daman toy line. Rather than planting bombs, each Bomber holds a marble in its body and fires it forward. The challenge lies in angling and timing a single shot to detonate all bombs on screen, creating chain reactions that clear the stage. Each level previews the layout before you act, and you only get two attempts per stage, so precision and planning are essential. The game feels like a hybrid between puzzle challenge and party game, distinct from traditional Bomberman titles.

The single‑player campaign spans ten sets of ten stages, gradually introducing hazards and environmental gimmicks. Success depends on reading the puzzle, choosing the right bomb to strike, and maximising the chain reaction. Even if you fail, the game advances you to the next stage, so progress never stalls, but your score reflects efficiency. Multiplayer expands the concept. In Duel Mode, two players take turns solving puzzles. In Battle Mode, up to four players compete simultaneously, firing marbles at each other to steal points before the timer runs out. CPU opponents can fill empty slots, and the chaos mirrors the toy line’s competitive spirit. Customisation is another feature. In “My B‑Daman” mode you recolour Bomber characters, adjust their expressions, and make them playable. A stage editor lets you design your own puzzles, adding replay value.

The presentation keeps Bomberman’s bright, cartoon style but adapts it to the B‑Daman aesthetic, with characters redesigned to resemble the toy figures. The soundtrack and effects reinforce the playful, toy‑like atmosphere. The game was a promotional tie‑in for the toys and a creative experiment within the Bomberman franchise.
