Mario Golf: Super Rush
マリオゴルフ スーパーラッシュA sports title that combines traditional golf mechanics with arcade‑style innovations, introducing fast‑paced modes and a story‑driven adventure, while emphasising accessibility, multiplayer energy, and the joy of competition.
Description
Mario Golf: Super Rush sees the return of the series last seen on the GameCube. Unsurprisingly this offers an accessible, multi-player golf game with characters from the Mario franchise. There are a variety of modes, including standard golf, speed golf, battle golf, and adventure mode. In standard golf, players compete to get the lowest number of strokes possible to complete the course. In speed golf, players race to complete the course as quickly as possible while also hitting the ball. In battle golf, players compete to be the first to sink their ball on three different holes. Adventure mode allows players to create their own Mii character and compete in challenges and tournaments to improve their skills and unlock new courses. The game also features motion controls, allowing players to swing the Joy-Con controllers like a golf club.
I quite enjoyed the GameCube game, subsequently the Everybody’s Golf series, and most recently Golf with your Friends. This new entry of Mario Golf had a lot of catching up to do and delivered. While not a groundbreaking title, it efficiently provided everything you would expect.
