Description
This was for the launch revision of the Xbox 360. 100 V input and a rather large 203 W output. Later revisions of the Xbox 360 would see significant power efficiency gains and reduced PSU requirements. Over time, Microsoft reduced the console’s power draw and introduced lower-wattage bricks (175W and 150W) for later original design revisions, while the redesigned Slim and E models moved to 135W and 120W units respectively, which aren’t interchangeable with the original-model power supplies.
The Japanese Xbox 360 power supply was designed for Japan’s standard 100V AC input, while units in North America and many parts of Asia used 110–120V, and European/Australian models were built for 220–240V. The power brick itself was largely the same across regions, what differed was the AC power cord that connected from the wall to the brick, which was tailored to local plug types and voltage standards
