Description

Genji: Kamui Sōran is an action-adventure game set in feudal Japan. It features a story of four warriors who must defeat a powerful enemy known as the “Kanbe”, including Genji, a skilled swordsman with a katana and the ability to perform powerful special moves. Playing as Genji and his companions as they journey across Japan, battling enemies and solving puzzles. The combat system in Genji: Kamui Sōran is based on timing and precision, requiring players to carefully time their attacks and dodges to defeat their opponents. Through the game you unlock new abilities and upgrade their weapons and armour.

The game received mixed reviews upon its release, with critics praising its visuals and combat system but criticising its story and level design. Despite its flaws, the game has developed presented the substantial improvement in this generation of consoles as one of the console’s early exclusives. It was release in the west as Genji: Days of the Blade.
