Sol-Feace

One of two Japanese Mega CD launch titles, the other being Heavy Nova. Sol-Feace is a side-scrolling shoot-’em-up that puts players in control of a high-tech spacecraft battling through waves of enemy forces across futuristic settings. Originally developed for the Sharp X68000, the Mega CD version features enhanced audio with a CD-quality soundtrack and voiced cutscenes, though the visuals remain similar to cartridge-based shooters of the time. The game combines fast-paced action with a sci-fi storyline gave an early showcase of the Mega CD’s multimedia capabilities.
